Yes, But if you have diabetes, You should pay attention to your diet. Then how to properly control your diet?1. Have more meals a day but less food at each, so as to lower the postprandial blood sugar. There will be a peak of glucose absorption 1~1.5h after your meal and this is especially obvious in patients with Diabetes. Therefore, after your daily staple food intake has been determined, you should divide then into more meals and have less food for each time. This is helpful in stabilization of your blood sugar level, making it easy to control. Of course, the specific strategies depend on your pharmacotherapy and you had better consult your doctor for advice.2. Increase the proportion of roughage in your staple food. The finely-processed foods are usually high in saccharides, so they will remain in your stomach for a shorter period of time and will be digested and absorbed more quickly compared with roughage foods, making postprandial glucose absorption peak easy to occur. By contrast, roughage foods have lower content of saccharides and can lower blood sugar to some extent.3. More vegetables and less meatYou had better have more fresh vegetables half of which should be green. On the one hand, vegetable intake can help you reduce your staple food intake; on the other hand, controlled staple food intake may result in fewer nutrients for you, but vegetables can make up the insufficiency. Meat is usually rich in fat and cholesterol, which can aggravate metabolic disorder of lipid. Therefore, you should also control your meat intake.4. Have proper amount of fruitsThis may have confused many patients with Diabetes because most of them are worrying about the sugar in the fruits, so they don’t dare to eat any fruits. In fact, they needn't have done so. If your blood sugar has always been well-controlled, you can have some fruits. You can choose some fruits that have low sugar content and eat them 1 hour before your lunch or supper.5. Extra nutrient supplementBecause diet of the patients is usually controlled, they may have less nutrients intake than normal people. Therefore, extra nutrient supplement is necessary for them.

Aside from the absolutely ridiculous starvation diets, the most important aspect is your discipline and resolve. There's a saying that goes "the best diet is one that works for you" and it's 100% true, it needs to be something that you can sustain for as long as you need to.You will usually hear trainers also talking about diet AND exercise. It's a synergistic approach to reaching the clients goals. Losing weight (or more specifically fat) can be done with diet alone, but it's much harder. We like to see people make LIFESTYLE changes. You're going to have to make some compromises in how you have been eating and spending your free-time if you want to look a certain way. By doing some exercise, you're giving yourself a little more wiggle room with your diet. If you're including some weight-training in addition to aerobics, you give yourself even more wiggle room, a bigger margin for error and a quicker path to success. At the end of the day though, it all boils down to mental strength and resolve. Mastering yourself. If any of this was helpful, please LIKE us on facebook: www.facebook.com/thestrengthreviewfor more tips/tricks and articles from leaders in the fitness, nutrition and strength industries see: www.thestrengthreview.com 13 hours ago Thanks.
