If you are looking to gain muscle mass, I would not do chest and shoulders on the same day, because they both are major muscle groups, and say if you do chest first, you will be fatigued to where you can't get a full workout in for your shoulders. I have always done chest and shoulders on different days. However, he does have the right idea. If you want to gain mass it is good to work every muscle group twice a week. I put on 30lbs of muscle doing that in just 4 months with nothing but a 4oz. protein drink that I mixed with water.I would say it depends on your eating habits. I see you mentioned that you eat tuna and a protein shake, but it's not what you eat exactly. It's how often you eat. In order to recover and assist your body to adapt to the stresses and damage that you will put your body through with the workout plan, you need to eat descent sized meals and eat them more often. There is no such thing as only eating 3 meals a day when you want to gain size. I have a fast metabolism and was eating 6 meals a day. I mean 6 legit meals. I'm not talking about a snack. However, there were snacks in between some of the meals. You don't want to just eat large portions bc your body will only absorb what it needs and excret, or store the rest as fat. Then you are basically wasting the food. That's why you want to eat more often to give your body what it wants when it wants. Also, when you feel like your hungry it's too late. If you have a fast metabolism you have to eat before your body is asking for it so it's there RIGHT when it needs it. It's a lifestyle man Lol. I live it, I just don't have the goal of putting on weight anymore. I did all of that for college football. Glad to see you are keeping it natural by not using any of those crazy supplements.
